Taking some photos today - and realised we have had Woody, for just over 18months - he probably just under 2 years old, and honestly showing no signs at all of maturing. He looks so much like Benson at his age it is almost spooky, especially as they are so similar in characters. Woody is such a cuddle monster, and adores Marcus.

Woody is also huge, from that tiny pipsqueak of around 8-10 weeks, to a big strapping lad!

His favourite hobbies are destuffing cushions and pillows, running off randomly.. especially if there is another dog in sight! He also takes ear-licking very seriously indeed!

Woody is adorable

Maxx is 7 next month and showing no signs of maturing. He still steals shoes, t-towels, clothing - anything movable that he can get his mouth on - every single day then thunders around the house with it until we chase him. It's just his way of getting attention

The thing is... so does Benson and he is 11 next month! So maybe not the best role model in some respects!

Woody is also a brilliant hunter, and loves his retrieving! He can do a fairly long memory now, although we are careful of his joints. Due to the poor start from a nutritional perspective, he was very small for his age, we have taken things slowly with him.

Behaviour wise.. he frets if away from his pack - this is probably due to being taken away from mum and siblings at a young age. He is super attached to Teasel, who we know is his half sister ( Teasels mum is sister to Woodys mum, but probably unrelated dads)
