Ariel almost strangled to death....I feel beyond sick

Scary beyond belief. Thank god she has recovered. Doesn't this just show how easy it is to have an accident like this in seconds and without anyone seeing what is happening?

As others have said she will get over this far more quickly than you will, so  for you x

What a shock you have had. I think it takes longer for us humans to get over things compared to dogs. I’m glad you were quick thinking and managed to get her free. Try not to beat yourself up. Sending you big hugs x

@jazzmynn I really can empathise , when Reuben got lost for two hours and then stuck behind fencing in the forest , he was screaming out , I can still hear it now whilst he is fine , in fact apart from being tired, he was fine the following day . So yes, it will upset you far more , but you were there and did what you did to free your girl , please try not to feel guilty xxx

I am so sorry, it is easily done and something we wouldn't even think could happen, but accidents do happen. You thought very quickly and managed to free her but I can feel the panic you must have felt as you struggled to release her. I am sure Ariel has completely forgotten, she certainly looked very happy in the photos, it is you who are suffering, do try to put it behind you now, it is in the past xxx

What a horrible thing to happen. It was lucky that you were on hand to react quickly. She certainly looks none the worse for it from those lovely photos, so don’t let yourself think of what might have happened. x

Bloomin heck.
Well done on your quick action.

Bizarrely the exact same thing was posted in a dog group a few weeks ago on FB.
I think it's probably not as much a freak accident as I thought it was.

So glad you are both okay.

So, so scarey. You were there for her though, and sorted it. She looks totally fine and beautiful whilst you are left in bits! It happened, you got to her in time, you rescued her, you are a superstar. Award yourself a little smigeon of something and that's another lesson learned. Very glad it wasa happy ending.

I'm so sorry for the horrendous scare @jazzmynn, these things happen and it's no ones fault. Thank goodness you kept a cool head and saved her. She is fine and looks so happy in the sunshine having a swim.

What a terrifying thing to happen! So glad you were able to release her. I can understand how incredibly shook you must have been. Enjoy lots of cuddles, tomorrow is a new day:heart::hug:

What a scary thing to happen, never in a month of Sundays would I have foreseen such a thing. It does shake you up, that's for sure.
On the up side, lovely to see pictures of Ariel

What a terribly frightening thing, and what a good job you were there for her. She certainly looks ok in those lovely photos, hope you are feeling better now.
