Back to the Vets , another lump

We have briefly touched on what to do if the test result comes back positive and obviously the first step would be removal surgery which I absolutely dread , it makes me feel sick to think I may have to put my dear boy through this again , please please, whoever is in charge, dont let this happen again, it would be too unfair , sorry I`m being a misery but I am so worried xx

I’m so sorry Kate, your worry and feeling miserable is perfectly understandable. I’m sure everyone here is looking to that person in charge and pushing for a positive outcome :hug:.
I don’t know what else to say, Reuben always sounds such a lovely, happy boy and enjoying his life with you, hoping all the forum lambies can work their magic.

I hope with all my heart that Reuben doesn't have to have another op. To make you feel less sick and upset, dogs do not feel pain to the extent we do, well they don't appear to do so. I have had dogs into the surgery one with his side hanging off, bitches spayed an hour before and jumping up at the kennel bars to play. The anaesthetic does make them feel odd and can upset them but once that has worn off they are much happier.

Thank you friends and you really are all valued friends . Reuben is a little quiet this evening , he didnt even want to come and play games in the garden . I think the taking of three samples upset him although he didnt show it at the time , in fact his tail never stopped wagging at the Vets as usual .
Tomorrow is my 75th birthday and I want nothing except for my boy to be right and an end to this eternal worry with him , just a phone call in a few days time to say, panic over its nothing sinister this time :fingers:

Thinking of you and your Darling Boy, Kate. Hoping so much that it's nothing serious. These dogs can cause us so much worry, can't they? Hugs, Lambies and hope you have the best birthday possible tomorrow. :hug::thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming:xxx

Ugh I hate to hear this, Kate. Sending hugs and prayers. It’s good your vet is on top of it but that means she will be extra-careful, leading to more of these (hopefully unnecessary) worries for you. Hang in there and enjoy your time with him over the next few days. Birthday parties are a good distraction  :partyhat:
