Home at Little Brother's house by the Fireinametalbox. Very subdued due to the G.A. Currently not interested in food but able to manage a small wag from time to time. Poor little Joy, she has been through the mill lately.

I hope she settles and gets well without further intervention. x

Managed somehow to force a little chicken and rice down. Wanting more now but I'm waiting to see how this settles first.

It just started last night, she was absolutely fine before that.

She had a very small second tea about an hour after the first one and is settled. She has been obviously hoping for a third tea, but I reckon it's better to let her go a little bit hungry than to overload her gut, so I'm staying firm for now. She's looking and sounding a lot more comfortable .

I too would have opted for 'watch and wait' under the same circumstances.

She didn't want to go into the bedroom last night, probably because she associated it with being poorly, and I thought I might be in for a night on the sofa. However I moved her bed next to mine , she settled and we had a good night's sleep. She seems fine thismorning. I'm keeping her on bland food in small amounts for now and we're going to try a gentle walk after breakfast. She's waggy and bright and barking at the postman!

Oh no, just catching up with this. What a trauma! It sounds like she's over the hump now, and getting back to her normal self
