My marking is hopeless as well! I hate it when suddenly the trainer says 'you go and fetch the dummy'!!!! I put two dummies out today as memories near some large hay bales (round ones), different directions, different bales, different distances. Walked a hundred yards, went to send him and couldn't remember which bales!!!! I oriented myself to the direction I though they were and left it to Rourke, first one was spot in, second he did a banana run but still found it. I can remember years ago, marking a dummy against a moving tractor!!
. There have been a couple of times I think I know where the dummy has gone and been rewarded by a backward glance by Bramble as she disappears in a different direction, only to reappear with a dummy!!
