Can I just say ...

I am very, very grateful for this forum.

It keeps me busy when I’ve nothing else to do (or, more correctly, nothing else I want to do!).

It makes me smile when I’m down and the last thing I thought I’d be doing was smiling. It gives me a place to rant where I won’t be seen as selfish or delicate or folk ‘needing to tread on eggshells’ round me.

Thank you @snowbunny and others who do all the work, you really are very much appreciated.

I am very glad I have you as my friends!! I often come here to read, be in contact with all of you. I even start thinking in English.....even though the hardest part for me is the English language. I can’t often express myself as I would do in my native speaking language Dutch. I try to do my best. One of the reasons that Pongo and I have not been around much recently is that I've been involved in setting up a forum like this for the online choir that I joined. The whole experience has made me appreciate just HOW MUCH WORK and time is involved. @snowbunny and all the mods here....thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart (and the bottom of Pongo's biskitt bowl). Honestly, you are heroes.

(We got the new forum launched two weeks ago so I desperately hoping I'll soon have time to spend some proper time here again....I miss you all so much!)

Me too. I really didn’t think that my grandson’s ‘friends’ that he actually chats to over the internet could count as friends, yet this forum, where we rely mostly on written chat, is more than a forum.
