Ooo, I can't do any movies with animals in them. I spend the whole movie afraid the dog/cat/rat/bunny isn't going to make it. Not even animated movies!

Has anyone watched the new Watership Down? Having been traumatised as a child by annual showings of the original I’ve never braved the remake. It can’t be as horrific, surely?!
Marley and me is a Sh*t film. The books are worse they are cruel people they physically abuse him. They treat him terribly. It's a money making thing. They also do a programme on CMs show it's about how he comes round and shows them how to torture their new dog. I cringe when I hear oh our dogs just like Marley. Oh it makes me mad so mad. Oh don't get me started on seven brides for seven brothers either. Happy Christmas

Black beauty is about the treatment women of women in that era. It's cleverly done but clear.
I’m just watching ‘All Aboard! The Great Migration’ on BBC4 which is a Norwegian film about the Sami people’s 160 mile annual reindeer migration across the region of Finnmark, and it’s beautiful. If you can get BBC4 I’d really recommend it as 1.5 hrs of slow, peaceful documentary - there’s very little speech or noise apart from the sound of the reindeer and it’s incredibly relaxing

there are also dogs The BBC is doing a remake of Black Narcissus over Christmas. I really excited I loved the original. All that lust heat thwarted passions and murderously mad nuns. Yeah now that's a Christmas show.

I watched the BFG for the first time today. Christmas film? I don't know, but I laughed so much at one scene the tears rolled down my cheeks. If you've seen it, you'll know which bit.

much to my husband's, choked with laughter, amusement.I love the Black Narcissus! Surely noone can improve on Deborah Kerr, she was stunning.
