I had to read your comment 7 times before it sunk in 'I phone the UK Poisons Helpline (costs £30 a call but excellent)'. I would think a Poison Line would be free? You know, to save lives and stuff? Ours is free but I've never used it so no idea if it is any good nor do I know if they would have information on poisons for dogs

It’s an interesting one; there’s one for humans that’s free, but I think you can only access it as a professional (like an NHS Dr). The vet service was excellent and you can access them via the vet and then I guess it could be down to the vet’s discretion whether they charge - but yep, upfront cost otherwise.

I've used it once when Nathan managed to sneak into our room and started chomping on my Nurofen (ibuprofen). They were fantastic, answered instantly and gave really helpful information.

Glad to hear Kipper is doing well... Well done for acting so quickly!

Yep they are pretty nasty, you have to be careful handling them to as they can make your heart rate change even if you just crush the leaves when planting them out

Wow, I knew foxgloves were poisonous but not that they can affect us like that, so easily.
I collect the seeds each year, love all the bees they bring to the garden.
