Do you have nicknames for other dog walkers ?

I just know all of the dogs names. No idea about the owners.

I do have bellend with the 5 lurchers though who run riot and are usually nowhere near where he is. and dickhead with the 2 Samoyeds who are at the end of their leads foaming to eat every other dog while she walks them in a place where people generally have their dogss off lead.

Everyone also knows Stanley. I hope I’m just Stanley’s mam, but I wouldn’t count on it

This nearly always happened with Brogan. I didn't mind at all - I used to say he was George Clooney and I was just his personal assistant. Normal that people didn't remember me.

I do get great joy out of people calling from across the road, “Snowie!” I’m pleased he’s well-liked. These are people who know him separately from me! They know him from the park when our cleaner takes him there when she works at our house. I do the same when I meet dogs that I’ve met while they’ve been walked by their walkers and now they’re with their owners—owners get great joy, too, that someone knows their dog!

Mostly I know the dog's names, some of the owners I see regularly and know there names and most know mine.
There's a park close to my house next to the woods and most of us there are regular and familiar with each other so it has a nice safe feeling.
We all know when a new pup arrives and which dogs and owners to avoid.
Maisy knows who to play with madly or gently and most importantly who is carrying sausages in their pockets!!

Oh yes!!! Snowie races up to a guy we see every day on our mounts trail and promptly sits in front of him. If the sausages don’t appear IMMEDIATELY, he barks deafeningly at Chris (with tail wagging). Very rude! I’ve told Chris not to give him any sausages in that case!

I know most of the dogs in our neighbourhood by name (and most of the humans), but we have names for the dogs we don't know (skinny lab, curly tail mix, fluffy muzzle etc.). I know for a fact OH is known as the guy who plays hockey with the black dog! haha I'm the more well known human! I have one name for a human....Quinn's man. The old guy who walks through the park and Quinn goes mental for him, chasing, jumping and wagging.

"The Lady with the Greyhound" who has now become my friend and we walk almost everyday.
