Does tiredness carry over ?

On Thursday I did a mammoth walk with the dogs , even little Nelly kept going out in front . Then yesterday Reuben was with Anna from 9.15 until 3.ish , they had much play , agility fun and a walk in the woods . He was nicely tired out, no signs of it being too much at all but today he is happy to snooze after a very short morning walk . I wonder if tiredness does carry over for a few days ? He can have a quiet day today with just an hour this afternoon , suits me as its currently raining x

Yes it does, I believe. Maisy is always less energetic on a Wednesday after Tuesday's day care.

Sometimes she also has a quiet snoozy day for no apparent reason, maybe just catching up like we have to sometimes, I wouldn't worry. :sleepy:

Yes, I think it does. I find Cass will be quieter and rest more the day after a long walk/Forum outing. Often that evening she will be full of beans and energetic, but it seems to catch up with her the next morning. I think she finds long car journeys tiring too.

I agree, sometimes Maxx will have a couple of days where he doesn't sleep so much during the day and wants more playtime. Then we can guarantee a day of 'catch up' where he literally sleeps all day.
