Is it fully washable and if so, would it be a bind to unzip it etc? The material at the back looks shiny, what is it made of and would the white part stay clean for very long!!!!

(not having got mine yet) I think the top bit is a separate pad so easy to remove and wash, and the cover is all supposed to come off and is all washable.

I do have two mattress type Tuffy beds which I put on top of each other now I only have one Lab, so feel guilty at getting rid of them as they are still as good as new, but I just feel Rourke needs something a little more cosy around him now that he has arthritic shoulders. I do fancy that bed.
So do I. I keep looking - perhaps I’ll just get one initially to see whether either will use it!

It’s fully washable, easy to unzip. The brown is a cotton fabric, not shiny. And the white bit on top is a fluffy (fake sheepskin type) pad that Velcros on. Very easy to remove and washes up nicely

No, they use plastic beds and blankets. ‘Tho Keir’s went with him as it was plastic and ENORMOUS!
We send toys, paperwork and blankets up with them, that’s all.

Just wanted to say I'm really happy with the Medium Zooplus orthopaedic bed.
Lilly approves too.
Medium is plenty big enough for us. Lilly is a medium height lab but slim and around 25kg for anyone else who is interested.

Obi has one of these: Sorrento Ash Grey Pet Bed - T&S Pet Products He really likes the high sides. Since we got it he’s been spending the night on his bed and not ours.
The foam inserts zip out and the whole cover can be washed.

Yeah, you don’t alway get what it says on the tin! We dismantled ours and washed it recently and it all worked fine, though getting the cushions back in was a little bit of a wrestling match.
I have a wonderful tuffies bed it's been Doug's and Moos bed, but Rory won't use it. He's slept in it 3 times since she died. Perhaps the next dog will like it, it might have to he sold if not.

I've found it easy to wash the covers of the zoo plus bed and even putting it back together, once you've worked out what goes where! Top tip: put the base cushion back in first
