Dog booster injection

Just out of interest how much do you pay for you dogs booster injection. I have been told that our vet has just put up the price to £55 (per dog, per year). My friends vet charges £35 and another friend goes to vets4pet and they charge £99 per life time.

I really don't know. I pay £16 a month for monty and this includes all boosters, a free consultation and blood test each each year, and anal gland squeezing. I would pay £16 a month for this last bit alone - four or five of these appointments a year would probably be £100. But I think it was over £60 at my old vets, five years ago, but that was with kennel cough.

I paid GBP95 last year in Cornwall, plus another 30 for them to stamp his passport (required for travel). Plus they charged me for two office visits as they wouldn't do the rabies and DHPP on the same day. Really nice office but compared to other places I've been very expensive. I'd also never heard of it being dangerous to do rabies and DHPP on the same day. As it was my first vet visit in the UK, I just thought it was the normal way of doing things there.

In Germany the same (rabies plus DHPP) is about EUR 60 including passport stamp (not charged extra) and office visit. Office visit alone is EUR25 so that means the vaccines were about 35.

I know with Squidge when she was a puppy, they wanted a week between them, which put us back travelling by another week. Over here they do them all together, although I don't know if that's the case for puppies.

I had all of my dogs vaccinated (DHPP for all and two for rabies) here in Spain and it was €90 for the whole lot.
