Help protect your dog with a simple mouth swab

Dog DNA Sampling Kit £74.99
These aren’t worth the money in my view - you’re not protecting your dog in any way, as the only scenario where DNA would be useful is if there was a national coordinated database to match a sample against - which doesn’t exist. And what sort of sample would you have in that scenario? It all gets a bit grisly. It’s also not a deterrent for any criminal, because why would it be? Save your money and make sure your dog’s microchip information is up to date.

I tend to agree with @HAH.

I have one of those "rub your dog all over with these swabs" jars.
Bought to support Dogs Trust or Guide Dogs, can't recall.
I think probably better cost-effective choice should Lilly, or one of Sophie's dogs, goes missing.
Would that be so a search and rescue dog can get the scent of your dog if they went missing?
