Dog Friendly USA

We are just back from a road trip down to South Carolina, about a straight 16 hour drive from us. We didn’t bring Quinn because we didn’t plan anything in advance, but we definitely should have! Everywhere was super dog friendly, people had their dogs at bars/clubs and restaurants and most tourist attractions. They were also allowed on the beach. Many stores were dog friendly, dog stuff everywhere. We blew the bank at a store called The Black Dog!

Last Sunday, we walked out of the city of San Francisco to the Golden Gate bridge, walking along the shoreline into Crissy Field Park. It was before sunrise so not many people around until our walk back. I was enthralled at the number of people walking/exercising their dogs. They all seemed to be having a great time. We then went into a cafe at Fort Mason and a man came in with the most beautiful black Labrador who had a volunteer puppy walker harness on. I couldn’t stop looking at this lovely dog. He lay down by the table and he was given a treat. He was so calm and relaxed.
