I must be lucky or very short sighted as Rourke doesn't shed too much, though I have a little hand held vacuum which I do his bed with and often say I have enough hair in that to knit a dog!

I just dont see the point in cleaning the floor. I am not even finished and there is hair back because Miss V wants to inspect.

Social convention?
I had a dog with a auto immune disease. Part of his treatment was super concentrated vitamins. One of the was to encourage nail growth. It encouraged his coat to grow too.! So I had 2 normal shedding labs and one that left baby yetis in his wake. He's been dead 2 years now and I'm still clearing up his hairs.

Nor does Cassie. I can honestly say in terms of hair and general mess in the house she's the cleanest least problematic dog I've ever had.
