Dog Hair!

I have a Magic Mouse for my computer, but I'm constantly having to blow dog hair from out of the optical part because it stops working. I'm just glad we don't have those awful roller-ball mice anymore. I'd be forever emptying it of hair :D

Hunter kind of sheds all the time....but 2 major ones per year. My vacuum has so much of Hunter's hair in it, that I just smell Hunter at high concentrated levels when I use it! My vacuum has just literary broke. Is the Dyson any good and which model?

We got the dyson v8 animal and we’ve had it well over a year. I use it twice a day on the main floor on the lower setting and it lasts a couple days off the charger. I like it because it turns into handheld for the couch etc and it’s fairly quiet. It last 20 mins on the high setting and it gets all black hair off my beige rug on the stairs!

Carbon shed like mad when I got him out of the shelter in the spring, then pretty much stopped completely and now is back to shedding for the winter but no where near as bad as this spring. He's actually the cleanest shedding breed dog I've had and with the exception of his 'Brie cheese' episode this summer, has a lovely non-oily smell too.

Of course my affection for him COULD be biasing my nasal perceptions. :cwl:

As someone who grew up with poodles, take heart all you heavy moulter households - non-shedding breeds have their own set of issues such as every little bramble and bit of fauna getting stuck in that curly fur and brought into the house. And then there's the dreaded 'poo bum' situation. Poodles and doodles are beautiful dogs, but give me short hair and moulting any day!
