Dog Ramp - Type and where to store it in the car.

Location

@SteffiS, that looks a good one, have 'bookmarked' if for the future.
I believe it was on show at Crufts this year, I wonder if @SwampDonkey saw it? I haven’t actually seen it yet as my sister lives in Kent, but when I was there we looked at the cheaper end Pets at Home ones which she didn’t like at all. Then she met somebody using one who let her try it out with her Samoyed, and she said she was really impressed with it. My sister also has arthritis and back problems so she needed something she could manage easily.

We’ve ordered a very hard foam block covered in canvas to use as a step for Snowie to get in and out of the car. The dog physio recommended it. She has a massive foam “bench” that we tried out and Snowie gladly stepped on it and then another easy step into the car. Our foam block is smaller—I think 30cm high x 30cm wide x 50cm long. I hope he’ll use it cos it wasn't cheap! But now I think I was silly and should’ve just used a crate that I could store empty side up in my boot so that I could put stuff in it if needed. Now, I’m going to have a block of foam taking up the space! I wasn’t keen on a ramp because it looks precarious for the dog to use—very steep!
