We arrived back from Italy on Sunday having been stuck in the hotel room most of the week with Covid. It left both of us feeling drained and me with a hacking cough and no sense of taste or smell. On Monday I kept getting coughing spasms clearing the disgusting gunk out of my lungs. Poor old Poppy hates it and after on bad go of it she came over, turned around and sat between my feet pushing in really hard against my legs with her little body.
Dogs are just amazing empathy gods!
On the plus side I opened the coffee container this morning and joy of joys I could smell the coffee again! Woohoo!
