Oh Kate, I so empathise with what you're feeling. As much joy as Reuben brings, there have got to be some very hard days or moments when the memories of Sam are just overwhelming. You said it best yourself, that you have room in your heart for both of them, so it makes total sense that sometimes your heart doesn't know whether to have a laugh over Reuben or have a all-out cry over missing Sam.
You know I have such a huge amount of admiration for you and how well you cope...and that includes letting the tears out when they come.
