My stepson and wife lost their much loved French Bulldog Frank yesterday , he was just nine years old .Frank had been having treatment for glaucoma in both eyes but sadly the drops and medications were not helping, the only option being to remove both eyes . Given the risk with a brachy dog and his severely narrow airways , the Vet was reluctant to put him under GA and so they decided to help him on his way . Although brachy dogs are not my favourites , Frank was a merry little dog but was not able to play as he wanted due to breathing difficulties , such a terrible shame .
