Farting in the lift

Well, it has happened. After all these years Maisy has finally passed wind in the lift.

One other person was in it with us and I am not sure she heard it, but I know my own dog's farty noises and it was definitely a bum squeak, one that slips out as she sits down. Thankfully we only had to go down 2 floors so we quickly got out as soon as possible and left the pleasure for the next person to breath in

Hey, farts happen!

This may be when you start carrying a little room spray in your pocket on the lift. Worked miracles with Brogan when he would fart during take off and landing in the plane. That pressure change is murder on a poor dog's inside workings.

Red does that or she looks totally unperturbed as if in denial the noise has come from her

The first time Oreo farted, she jumped up and looked at her back end as if she’d got a fright

To be fair, she doesn't do it much now but when she was very young and we would go to work on the train, well, once you are in those carriages there is no escape. That's when I perfected my 'looking at an old person and wrinkling my nose' face , it was horrific.

Chewie sometimes "fartles" himself. That's a portmanteau of fart and startle. He farts and then walks off looking a bit stunned.

Thinking about this.....and I honestly can't remember Joy ever farting! All my previous dogs, yes, but never my GGJ. She truly is a GoodGirl!

When Snowie farts—very infrequently I must add—the ones that make a noise are so cute. Phrtt as he climbs up a step. The silent but violent ones that waft up when he lies on my side of the bed… eeuw, enough to make you cry!

It always makes me laugh when they move and do a squeaky fart, like they are deflating. Chewie often does it while lying down.
