I can't resist having a little smile to myself reading this, not because some stupid men have frightened Reuben,Kipper and Maisy, not at all, but because any men who try that sort of thing with Cassie get more than they bargain for in that she gets really full on with them and they have to back off!!

My son and daughters boyfriend have always played ruff and tumble with her since she was small, so she thinks all young men want to do this ! Or it looks that way. I suppose it just goes to show just how their early experiences shape their behaviour.
Same with Maxx. Anyone, but especially men, who shows the slightest interest gets 40+ kilos of yellow love launched at them |(

That was Solstice entirely! Once she was in the pub with Trevor and a man who had had a few drinks got down on all fours to play with her. He was biffing her on the nose (not hard, I was informed) Trevor was just saying 'I wouldn't do that if I were you' when she biffed him back with a paw. Blood everywhere apparently! Trevor horrified and apologetic. Man saying 'Actually, my fault, you did warn me!' We met up frequently after that in the pub. His nose is permanently scarred, he maintains this is his fault and claims to be proud of his scar. I'm not so sure. However he did have to leave the pub in tears when he heard we'd lost Solstice. He always comes to make a fuss of Joy when I see him. I always have to remind him that she's very different from Solstice and he must be quiet and gentle with her and he never quite seems to get it. I then have to say something like 'Actually the kindest thing you could do for her right now would be to leave her alone'. Then, to be fair he does. As others have said though, why is it nearly always men of a certain age? It makes me cross and it's time for bed. Goodnight!
