Phew! She's ok!
The vet said it was a good job I brought her in and that she was sedated as there was a lump of hair in there and it was full of pus!
We're guessing that she cut it at some point and the hair ended up under the scab and became infected. Now it's just a clean, small flat wound and she'll have a short course of antibiotics.
Just to show how bad she is with her nails, when fully sedated, she didn't flinch at the pus being cleaned and scalpel being taken to the wound. But, when they cut her nails, she still managed to flinch and gently try to move her paw away
Poor girl. I can't wait to pick her up
