Growling?

I hate lying to Toby,

I tried to record him this morning and (Murphy's Law), he refused to growl. I think he heard me telling my wife that I would post it and he is now refusing to give me the satisfaction of allowing me to record him

Toby is gorgeous! Welcome here from me and Simba, 6 year old Lab/Newfie cross.
Simba will growl in warning, mainly. We got him at 8 months old and was a terrible resource guarder, but he is much better now. He doesn’t tend to growl at other times except when he is around a young entire male dog, then he will go into aggressive humping mode accompanied by weird growling. Needless to say we avoid young, entire male dogs.

In that case, don't let him see the "Kennel Club, no hoomans allowed" thread. Our dogs will spill the beans to him instantly, you can't fool Labradors.
