The dog will be fine, they all move on with heads high and tails wagging.
The boy is used to dogs coming and going as boarders only have them for about five months. That won’t make it easy for him any more than it does for us - but he knows they don’t stay very long. Boarders usually work full time and don’t have time for a dog of their own. This is a great way for them to enjoy dogs without having to leave them alone. They drop the trainees at school at 8am and pick them up at 5pm.

The Guide Dog owners in Halifax meet up at Cafe Nero on a Monday and the puppy walker who is looking after Echo was invited to join them. How surprised were they when Keir and his owner walked in! They looked after Keir too for holidays.

Keir's owner has just sent me photos of Echo and Keir meeting! She says she was really pleased to meet Echo and can't believe what a small world it is, having met me as well!
