That sounds great Heidrun!
I will be taking Amy. Mostly I am interested in PW’s way of teaching. The course is all about retrieving and I think apart from Amy there will be only one other spaniel. Amy is a very good retriever so I don’t think she will look out of place amongst the labs and golden retrievers.

@Heidrun, I went to one of Philippa's gundog holidays in Wales, it rained every single day and one day we had to train in the kitchen! I have also been on one of her 'ordinary' training holidays. I thoroughly enjoyed the gun dog one. I was lucky enough to go to some of her training classes when she was living near Gloucester, it was a blow when she moved up north.

Ooh! Where up north is she please? GGJ has never done any gun dog training but several people have remarked on her aptitude for it.

This sounds like a great thing to do. I guess by staying within the training aura for several days, things sink in more firmly and as everyone's working with the same aim it's a more conducive to learning. I'll be very interested to hear how this goes.
