Harley update

Her bandages are off ??. Since the injury happened 2 weeks ago she has been to the vets every 2 days to have the bandages changed. She has been so good at the vets which is great.
I was away last week in Germany, Harley stayed with my OH. By Wednesday she was asking for walks which was the first time since the injury. On the 27th July I was sent the following photo from the vet;



It was starting to heal, but there was a long way to go still. OH took her to the vets every 2 days and managed to keep her occupied (she has put on 1.2kilos since I’ve been gone!).
Yesterday I took her to the vets and the bandages can come off ?. We have to put cream on twice a day and only allow her to walk on soft surfaces. Today we had a half hour meet up with her friends. She was so happy.

She is so happy that she rolled around on the grass ?

It will still be a few weeks before it is healed properly, but it is now closed and healing. I will try and get a photo later today ?

Lovely to hear that Harley is doing well except for the weight gain! but that can soon be sorted out. It's been a long road a little further to go but she looks very happy. Good girl Harley
