Hattie's been to the Emergency Vet ;(;(

Thank you all for your kindness. Hattie had a good night and slept well. She ate a little tuna for breakfast, is accepting water via a syringe, went out for a wee. She is still wobbly and a little weak but with the high temperature yesterday that's normal. She came outside for a wander with me and a short lay out in the sun. She hasn't accepted any more food other than a chew stick, she's not eaten properly since breakfast yesterday. She is having cooked chicken and veggies for dinner tonight, so hoping that tempts her. Her temperature was 39.3 earlier so coming down from the 41.2 yesterday. Her chest is still a little rattly but not as bad as yesterday, hoping once the course of ABs is finished this will disappear. We called the vet with a progress report and she was pleased but should she not improve further in two days we must take her back. She is sleeping a lot which will do her good. Poor little love, we have all been worried sick.:cry:xxx

How is Hattie this morning, Helen? x
Thanks Carol. Hattie ate her chicken, veggies and some rice for dinner last night - brilliant. She even came for a 200 meter walk with me last night!! Happy sniffing and waiting for me as I am slower than her at the moment! Oh please can normal life return. This morning she refused kibble but ate some chicken, had a big drink and a wee. Looking a lot better, thank goodness. xx
