Hattie's Had a Mini Stroke :’(

@Cath She can have tuna which she has had. She is only allowed this and steamed chicken once a week due to her kidney issue. Not allowed sardines as high in protein which needs to be avoided. Her kidney problem makes feeding her alternatives so difficult. xx

Good to read this morning's positive update. Can she have white fish @Charlie ? I know this is not a balanced diet in itself longterm but to whet her appetite I wonder if it might help?

Sorry that it was actually a stroke but Hattie seems to be improving really well, it's good that she is drinking and weeing and seems much happier

Aw bless you, sleep what's that!! Hattie is truly amazing, she has been up and outside, wondering around giving hugs and kisses to us, walked with me along the hall on my pal zimmer. She lay by my bed, ate a whole steamed chicken breast and peas, she is a truly darling wonderful girl. xx

Oh gosh! Life has been so busy I’ve just been dipping in and out lately and I missed this.

I’m sort of pleased as I didn’t have the suspense of waiting to see how Hattie got on and I can see she’s being the superstar she always is and making amazing improvement.

Thank you everyone. Hattie had a good night. She got up at 0730 and sped along the hall to go out for a wee and a POO!! She's very picky with food, she had a little wet food and in desperation we gave her a little bit of Charlie's food. She turns her had at whatever we offer. The vet said not to worry about her kidney's right now just let her eat what she wants, but me being me I am worrying. Going to try offering little and often throughout the day. Chicken breast with rice for dinner. Drinking plenty. All in all I think she's doing really well.
