Hope she managed to sleep and is feeling better this morning x

Thank you everyone. At around 2 am Hattie had a big drink and 30 seconds later chucked up twice. It contained several chunks of quite sharp hoof. She slept all night but is not still eating this morning. Not a lot I can substitute her kibble with due to her renal diet. I thought a little rice and tuna? Any ideas please? xx

Does her diet have to be low protein Helen ? If not, then maybe plain boiled white fish with rice , or even scrambled eggs ? Glad to know that she has brought some of the hoof up, her tummy is obviously still sore, poor love x

Have only just seen this. If she is still off her food I would be inclined to phone the vet for advice, at least he/she can reassure you or decide if she needs to be seen. Fingers crossed she brightens up very quickly xx

Can she have cottage cheese? When Fred was ill my vet said rice and cottage cheese. It sorted him out.

Sweet potato is also good for tums and not very high protein but I do agree with @Jelinga about calling the Vet , just for peace of mind x

How about any cooked veg that she’ll enjoy eating? Steamed broccoli, cabbage, carrots, courgettes. Anything, really. With some butter or olive oil.

Hattie has had breakfast in bed and is now sleeping. Thank goodness, I'm so very relieved. xxx
