Hattie's Yearly MOT

Hattie is doing well given her age, and like others have said she may live until she is really old. You will and are looking after her so she will be fine
Maybe a stiff sweet drink each night before bed will help, seems to do wonders for my Nan...

Hattie has just been to the vet for her annual vaccination and check up. As always she was perfectly behaved for the vet without David as still no owners allowed inside. Considering she had two bouts of horrible 'inconclusive' bugs last year, a serious reaction to a spot on treatment and 6 weeks ago a mini stroke plus kidney issue, thyroid issue, a touch of arthritis and Peripheral Neuropathy the vet is thrilled with her. She is in great shape, weight 24.9 kilos, teeth good apart from a little bit of tartar on one molar but nothing to worry about, I will sort that out. She has had a waxy ear for a year or so, I keep the hair plucked and clean it every two weeks, she said that looks lovely and clean. She 3 weeks she is having a T4 blood test to check her thyroid issue is stable. All in all at 13 1/2 years old she is doing brilliantly in fact she is walking further, (6 miles a day sometimes more) than before the stroke and is just so full of energy, fun and happiness, she still loves training and playing. Whatever Vinitronin does I want some!!. :inlove: xx
