Good to see that you're back, Natalie. I'm sorry that Monty too has passed on. It's lovely to hear about a new generation of youngsters, though. We still remember our 'forum originals' - after all, we wouldn't have been here without them and being able to share their antics and our worries!

Yes, I remember that day fondly - though when I look back at photos I feel you are having to bribe Monty with a treat in each one.

I’m so glad so see you here again, Natalie, but sad to hear about Monty. It was an honor to have met up with you and and Monty quite a few times and you played a huge role as Carbón’s fairy godmother.

I was thinking earlier that maybe things turn out how they were just meant to be - if we had adopted Carbon, we wouldn't now have Bear, and you wouldn't have an outstanding globe-trotting Spanish gentleman service dog

but I recall you even saying that early on a vet had told you he’d never have a good quality of life and it wasn’t worth trying.

Hmm, he got written off twice by that vet, once with giardia at around 11 weeks, and once a few months later, with a shrug of the shoulders

Bear is looking magnificent!

Thank you, he is a powerful little tank but unfortunately gains weight at the sniff of any food so it's a constant battle. Monty ate more than him and did far less exercise yet remained slim, Bear is the opposite
