Hi, I'm Karen and I live in Germany with my two lovely dogs Poppy (six years) and Merlin (15 months old), both working line yellow Labradors. In addition to working with my two dogs I also have my own dummy training group of six dogs and handlers that I run on a weekly basis, and I compete in working tests with Poppy. When we are in the UK we love to go picking up on shoots, but this only happens once or twice a year... I had intended to compete with Merlin as well, but it turns out he has severe bilateral hip dysplasia (but luckily no arthritis and no pain as yet), so this has changed our plans rather and will be a new challenge for us all! I'm looking forward to catching up with old Labrador Friends on this forum, as well as making new friends as well.
