1970's US (possibly kids?) TV show called Kung Foo I think, where the master always shared wise words with his protege who he called 'Grasshopper".
I guess it was always about building strength and fortitude in a martial arts kind of fashion.

Hi and welcome from me and Molly.

As regards reactions to sounds and reflections indoors, I'd suggest a mixture of management and training. By management I mean trying to block out surfaces in which Neo sees reflections where this is possible (draw curtains, move furniture, cover items with cloths etc.) Training would be counter-conditioning, so when Neo barks you would feed a treat. I know this sounds as if you are rewarding the barking but this isn't the case - the barking is an instinctive emotional response, so you are building a new emotional association between the thing he perceives as disturbing and something nice. If it's something like the hoover, washing machine etc where you can predict that Neo is going to react then you can get the treat in before the bark. You would be at a distance from the sound, switch it on and as soon as he hears it feed a treat. (If you are concerned at using too many treats then it can be part of his daily food allowance - it just needs to be something he likes.)
There are some good Kikopup videos on You Tube that might help. Here's one:

I have been an IMDT qualified trainer, though allowed my membership to lapse now.
Hi Joy, just wanted to say thanks again for the tips and video - one of the many things that Neo barks at are other dogs on the tv. We have done a bit of work on this as it’s easy to set up and predict and this afternoon we’ve just managed to watch an entire episode of ‘Dogs Behaving Badly’ with lots of shouty dogs and barely a peep from him, he even napped through the second half 😊 Fingers crossed it wasn’t a fluke! 🤞

As a little kid, I had a crush on the main character. Imagine my shock as an adult to find out that David Carradine wasn't even a tiny bit Asian. Not sure why I never noticed when I was a kid, but I couldn't watch it now because it would just seem too weird by today's standards. Still, the "Grasshopper" thing stuck with me, kind of like Star Wars sayings. "Do not try, do!". 😉

By the way, the network stole the idea for Kung Fu from Bruce Lee, who came up with the concept for the show only to be told that the US wouldn't accept a Chinese lead.
