Hi Again from Quinn & Prim

Hello all…been following some of the sad news lately on Facebook and feeling deeply for you all.
We’ve had a rough year with several lumps on Quinn, who is now 7 and Primrose enduring a bilateral TPLO for two torn cruciate ligaments. She turned two last week and that coincided with her 4 month post op freedom to run and play after 6 months of limitations and healing which was hard on everyone. The girls could not play together and were walked separately for 9 weeks.
While Prim is still a handful (who tore my MCL while on her short leash recovery walk), she’s really turning into a lovely dog. She is quite rough with gentle Quinn who spits treats out to give up to Primrose. That said, Quinn’s separation anxiety is completely gone having Prim with her. They enjoy playing tug and share very well.

hope everyone is well!

So lovely to hear from you! Looks like you really have been through the mill recently, poor Primrose with a bilateral TPLO, that must've been really tough. The photos are wonderful, the puppers look really happy!

HELLO! How lovely to hear from you again and a belated Happy New Year!
Such bad luck about Primrose's bilateral TPLO, our lovely Solstice had to have one done when she was nine and that was stressful enough, but two hardly bears thinking about!:tmi:
Great to see your two looking so good now though and Welcome Back!xxx

It’s awful and we couldn’t believe it happened so young. We struggled for weeks deciding to do both or one at a time and because she didn’t have a good leg, I’m glad we did it all at once so she used both legs right away.
