Hi all! You may remember me as "Chewie's mum" from the other place... I have had a bit of a lurk and thought I would make it official since there are quite a few interesting threads here.
Chewie is going really well. He is just a little love bug at 13 months. A bit scatterbrained and excitable, yes, but coming along quite well... we think.
We have had bit of a rubbish day though as Chewie was sort of attacked by an off lead cattle dog. I say sort of, because it charged up to him from across the street, snapping and snarling, but thankfully didn't actually do any damage. It was unsecured in a front yard while the owner washed his car. Apparently it has "never done that before." The guy only came and grabbed it after I yelled at him using some choice words. Was quite scary. Chewie yelped a bit but recovered from his fright quickly. I hope it hasn't left too much of an impact. He isn't an overly sensitive dog, which is good in these situations! It also never occurs to him to retaliate.
Anyway... enough rambling... I'm looking forward to doing some reading and learning more.
