Hi, nice to see you all....

I am hanging my head in shame. Juno has reached the grand age of 4 (really don't know where the time has gone) and has never rolled in anything - decaying or otherwise :D

Harley is 5 in just over a month and has never rolled in anything. She turns her nose up at anything dead and walks off ??
Sam never once rolled in anything either , Prefect Material , whereas Nelly would be the one made to sit in the corner with her face to the wall ! xx
You don't know how lucky you are having non-rolling Labradors! I think the girls are worse than the boys for it.

So far, so good with Wispa and Tuppence. However, our first lab, Penny, was a champion roller and once rolled in very smelly, very runny fox poo when I was walking with a friend and her dogs, one of which was Penny's sister and never rolled in anything! Penny was far too smelly to walk any further, never mind put back in the car, so we found a cattle trough in a nearby field and bathed her in it. As we didn't exactly carry shampoo with us, she still smelt a bit, so the walk was a bit longer than we had intended and the car windows were open all the way home!

My friend's husband painted this picture of a typical walk, showing Penny rolling, her sister Dinah trying to 'tell on her' and my friend and I walking on oblivious with our other two dogs!

Hi and a belated welcome JulieH. We haven't experienced any rolling in stuff....yet......but he is only 8 months old. He does love to run into the muddy bog at the dog park and that truly stinks so I do feel your pain
