Not long before Sam died , we had bought him a lovely memory foam mattress and I figured that Reuben would make better use of it than putting it away in the loft, he loved it immediately . I bought another bed for the bedroom , which he occasionally uses so yesterday I decided to swap them round so that they would both have the same use . Would he go in it ? Nope , he circled it, this interloper and then settled on the floor so I swapped them back again , he was over the moon, looning around with joy , such creatures of habit at times x
