In the past our vet has recommended soaking cotton wool balls in paraffin and feeding those (if they’ll eat...) to cushion the object. Hope the paraffin she’s had helps to things move along.

Poor girl. Hope she’s ok. Simba is constantly snaffing chicken bones or any other bones people have tossed away on our walks. The other day he got a rib bone. Ugh. I have accepted that I will never get those off him, and have realized that keeping walking in hopes that he’ll drop it isn’t always the best either as then he tries to gobble it. So...he was munching away on this thing and it snapped. Leaving some wedged in his mouth/teeth somehow- he was pawing away at his face trying to dislodge it. Ugh. It finally fell out and I managed to step away smartly so he wouldn’t get it again. But it’s so annoying. Hope Holly is ok!

That sounds awful. Holly really didn’t want to surrender her bone so I ended up with both hands in her jowls fishing around to find bits of it before she could swallow them.

She’s still feeling very low. Not a wag from her when OH made her breakfast, which is unusual. There’s no sign of a poop yet.

We got a poop. Nice and firm.
That will be yesterday’s breakfast. The next poop is the important one as it will be from after she ate the bone, so it’s arrival will let us know if there’s a blockage. We’d love to see a nice firm poop, we don’t want anything liquid or tarry.
Shes still uncomfortable on the injured leg and found squatting a bit awkward.
She managed a wag from her basket when Ruth made her breakfast.
