Do you think it's pain from her leg that is making her unhappy rather than tummy trouble from the bone?
She doesn't seem to like standing very much. She'll walk somewhere then almost immediately lie down so its clear that her leg is bothering her. She's not wriggling around in her bed so I don't think her digestive system is causing much discomfort. I guess we'll know when we so that first poop.

If she can't comfortably squat, then going to be a longer wait for a poop 🙁

Holly's just pooped. Not a bad consistency, and a couple of big shards of bone in it. Hopefully there are no more big bits to come out, but we'll be watching closely for a couple of days to see if any more comes out, or if the shards did any damage.

As usual she scuffed up a bit of the lawn afterwards. She did it with her back legs and front left, but not her front right.

I think I'll stay down with her again tonight so she doesn't feel tempted to go up the stairs.

Oh, those nights spent downstairs on the floor near our poorly dogs! I have had my fair share over the years. It's always been the right thing to do though, and there is something kind of special about them. Do hope she's properly better soon.
