All together now...

"Poo, glorious Poo!
What wouldn't we give for
Bowel movements at last
That's all that we live for!
Just picture a great big turd,
Firm, shining and new!
Oh POO! Wonderful POO! Marvellous POO!
Glorious POOOOOOOOO!"

Good lord, being a Labrador owner does strange things to you, doesn't it...?
@Rosie - classic :cwl:

On a serious note, so glad Holly is on the mend

Her poops are starting to look more normal now, suggesting that her digestive system is returning to normal. This morning we introduced a small amount of kibble into her food and will see how she reacts. She’s lost a lot of weight and energy so getting her onto a better diet will help address that problem.

Last night she was a bit low so I sat on the floor with her. She snuggled up and fell asleep curled up between my knees while I stroked her head. She was so content.

As a special treat we’re taking her for a short walk around the Arboretum in the Forest today. Lots of sniffs for her. Also it’s a poop free zone so she can’t pick anything up!

A much nicer poop this morning - firm and well formed.

We had a quiet walk up a forest track for about 40 minutes. She was beginning to look a bit tired by the end of it but its the longest walks shes done for a week. Afterwards we dropped by the vet to weigh her. 27.15kg, which is a big improvement on last week's 26.4kg. All the signs are good.
