So glad surgery wasn't needed and that she's back where she belongs. Hope she soon feels better, it's just so upsetting when they're poorly. Sending positive thoughts, licks and wags from GGJ and me.

It must be good to have Holly back home, although clearly you’ll still be pretty tense until she settles down a bit. Poor girl - I hope she continues to recover well and feels better very soon xx

Oh, thank goodness! Holly is home and in the best hands, and you've got a treatment plan. Phew.
Good girl Holly. Now, settle down and get better soon, stop worrying your mum and dad.

Good news, is she on any medication? Poor Holly, it must have been so painful, I am sure she will improve day by day with the right, gentle food and rest.
She was in a lot of discomfort on Monday. She just wanted to hide in a corner and be left alone. Last Wednesday she weighed 28.4kg, and has lost 1.7kg since then.

She's on a low dose of Salazopyrin to gradually reduce the inflamation in her bowel. That, combined with small & frequent light meals and rest, should get her back to normal in a week or two. We'll be watching her very closely.

Holly’s looking more relaxed this morning. I think that being home has helped to remove some of the stress for her and us. She hasn’t got a lot of energy but that should come back when she’s had a few days of regular meals.

We still haven’t seen a poop, which is a bit of a worry. I’ll be a lot happier when we see that first poop. We’ll continue to watch her closely for the next few days to be sure that she doesn’t relapse.
