Holly's done it again!

She's been eating things again and has been up all night with diarrhoea, and brought up her breakfast this morning. We've been to the vets, and have started the familiar routine of starving her for the day, keep up fluids, give her the gut medication and feed her on rice and chicken from tomorrow breakfast.

She's looking very sorry for herself. She's trying to make us feel guilty at mealtimes but is not getting a lot of sympathy.

Thanks, Kate. She's a terrible scavenger. I let her off her lead yesterday and she ran off to guzzle some horse poo. We reckon that was the trigger this time.

Poor Holly, hope she’s feeling better today. Wispa was sick several times, without the diarrhoea, last week and yes, it was some poo (her own or Tuppy’s) that she’d managed to find despite meticulous ‘Baldricking’, as one of my friends calls it. The vet recommended feeding her a bit of the ID food, rather than starving her, as it apparently helps to sooth the stomach. It would be lovely if these dogs learned from their scavenging mistakes...
