I came across this site a while ago and bookmarked it. I think it was the cheesy biscuit recipe that had caught my eye.
I was looking for something else this morning and "re-discovered" it. Thought I would share.
Dog Food Recipes

The delights include bone broth gummie bear treats, teething biscuits for puppies, tuna loaf and err.....how to make your doggy dinner from a pigs head

We get a lot of offal in our supermarkets that people would faint at over there! I just went and bought some "regular" stuff (kidney, liver, heart) but this conversation made me realise that there is a lot of stuff you just don't see on UK shelves - tripe, pig trotters, fresh pig ears, brains etc, all there ready to be bought. If you buy a pack of chicken livers, they come with the hearts, too. I'm not a fan of the hearts, but the dogs definitely approve! :)

I love offal. The dogs go crazy for it too. I'm lucky as there is a very good butcher nearby and some amazing farm shops. It makes me realise how darn spoiled my dogs are though!

That's what I like to hear! :D

I like kidney and liver. Not a fan of tripe at all. I had brain when I went to a nice restaurant once and wasn't that excited by it. Our butcher here is amazing, I must see if he can get us some other bits such as lungs.

Eeeww!! I'll stick to tinned sardines & my pyramid pans....though I will cook up the giblets from a duck (why don't we get giblets in a chicken any more?) for Coco - he goes mad for them.

Chicken hearts are delicious!

Made doggy ice cream for Coco yesterday - it's a hit in this hot weather.

1 ripe banana, mashed. One small tub natural yoghurt, 2 generous dollops of peanut butter. Mix well - spoon into ice cube trays & freeze. I can vouch - they are lovely.

Just thinking - substitute the peanut butter for mashed sardine :) - no I'm not going to taste this one!
