How well does your dog(s) sulk?

We are madly spring cleaning etc so HRH (His Royal Hairiness) is put out because we aren't being his devoted slaves every second of our free time. He is sulking and I'm sorry if that is anthropomorphizing (sp?) but I'm sure he is! I patted him and he let out the biggest sigh, looked at me then put his chin back down

Is that all Maxx, you got to make it harder on your hoomans. You must have the same problem we have, we spend so much od our spare time with her, that when we need to do something that does not involve her she will sulk at times or just take herself off.
Vanilla has it down pat in my view. We have multiple levels from her, and it is either a very faint huff, loud huff or a cry/whine and then a face hide. Plus depending on her mood she will have different expressions on her, but always her face on her front paws.
Now I know some (a lot) will say dogs dont do this. But I would say they do to an extend...

And without flooding pictures:

Loud huff and/or whine/cry

And finally a face hide

Good luck with cleaning and the party tomorrow. Dont know why to bother as soon as everybody turns up it becomes mess 😁

My lot don't sulk but a few years ago I had a collie and, oh my Dog, did she ever sulk! She would turn away from me every time I approached her if she was miffed. This would sometimes go on for days. I wouldn't be allowed to touch her and she would go to another family member instead and just stare at me as if I were the worst person ever. One time I brought home a puppy and she wouldn't speak to me for two weeks.

Stanley is usually fine if I’m not giving him attention but if im doing something he decides he wants to be involved in and I won’t let him it’s a completely different story.

He’ll get as close as possible while staring at me and giving big huffs. This was him when I was trying to wrap the Xmas presents last year 😂
