That's certainly a lot to deal with all at once. He's very lucky to have you take such good care of him and as you say, he doesn't know all this is going on, only that he's a very loved and happy boy.

I do follow Monty! We have tried laser but the effects were short term.. 5 day max. My OH was way too calm and he says of course he walks weird he has had bad elbows and has adjusted his body to reduce pain! Hydrotherapy we will definitely try. Acupuncture could be an option but he totally freaked out when he saw the vet with a needle. We have one batch of stem cells left and the vet is hoping that we will not need it for at least 6 months. So basically we keep a close eye on eye, give him supplements, 4 small intensive leash walks a day (Stanley will be jealous). We will still let him have wild free run session at the weekend but then he needs a pain killer before and after. Hopefully reduced humping in a few weeks.......Most importantly is that he is a happy little lad (and only 25kg!).
We are going to the UK after Christmas now so OH was looking at www.petspyjamas.com for family and dog pampering. We just need to decide where as I need to see my parents in Welshpool. So onwards and upwards!

I'm so sorry to hear this news about Hunter. I echo what the others have said - at least he's not uncomfortable, and you're doing everything you can for him.
