I hope he soon settles and the stem cells work. Very hard for you watching him, but it probably is the anaesthetic.

It took him a long time to settle. But he did eventually. He has 2 sets of stitches ...parallel above and below his willy. One is still slightly weeping, but much better than last night. They had to take the cells out of his shoulder as well. Usually there is lots of fat which helps, but Hunter is very skinny under his fur. So low weight actually worked against him! They put the fresh stem cells in him, so we wait for up to 6 weeks to see if we have an improvement.
I decided last night no more stem sell harvesting. If this treatment does not work, then so be it. We will find another way to help him.
He won't let me near him this morning so I know he is uncomfortable.

I am sorry, it wouldn't be quite so bad if you knew it was going to work, however, it is worth trying so you will know one way or the other. But is so sad to see your dog in pain, may Hunter feel so much better by the end of today.
I’m so sorry. There’s new research being done on isolating a compound in box jellyfish stings to cure arthritis. I heard about it on a health report podcast. If the stem cell method doesn’t work, perhaps you can look into this. I’m not sure how far off they are in actually trialing it, but hopefully it is not too far off.

A rough night again. He is limping on his front foot. The infusion had the same effect last time and he really does not know what to do with himself.
His stitches are still slightly bleeding. It is frustrating as he refuses to wee in the garden. It was not an easy day as he is obviously confused. I have now dosed him up with a painkiller and he finally had a wee (18 hours he held on!) and a pooh. He won't let me look at the stitches. Ringing the vet later as the bleeding from the stitches does not seem to improve. She said 3 days but then it is the weekend. It is not worse or better. This is worse than the elbow surgery.
