Update. The vet is 99% certain the lump in the photo is a wart. The lump in his groin she doesn't think is a fatty one, she's not sure what it is so Charlie had to have two needle biopsies, she wants to check the suspected wart just to be sure. Whilst we were there we talked about his shoulder problem again. He had a shoulder sprain at 8 months which was before he came to live with us. On and off this has given him an issue, when playing zoomies with Hattie or turning a certain way in the garden can cause a limp. Lately he has looked stiff and limps occasionally when he gets up from a sleep. I give him metacam and no walks for a couple of days which does the trick. The vet manipulated the leg and shoulder, pressed all the usual pain points but absolutely nothing, no reaction from him at all. So just keep doing what we do.
Whilst having the needles and shoulder exam he was as good as gold not a peep or movement. Lots of cheese did help

I am so proud of him he was a premiership
The very positive part of this visit was Charlie's behaviour, he sat in a very busy waiting room with a Rottie pup, more Labradors than you could poke a stick at and some other breeds just a lot of dogs, a cat on a woman's lap

a cat in a basket, a rabbit in a basket, numerous dogs coming in and out past him whilst we waited to pay the bill not a single bark, lunge or reaction. Cheese certainly helped, lots of

It goes to show that all the positive associations we have made with dogs, at the vets etc. over the years really work even when we think we aren't getting anywhere very fast Charlie shows us we have
Couldn't feel more proud of Charlie.
Hopefully we will have the biopsy results next week.
