Those kitchen cabinet doors! :D
Très français, non?

Does that say private beach? You are that close?
No, one of the photos says "less used beach" and the other says, "Ask me for access" so I'm guessing the other is a bit hidden. Someone in the reviews said you can hear the ocean from the house and you can see it from the first floor, but they've not approved the booking yet so I don't know the exact location yet. It can't be that far from the ocean though. :D

We're all set, both of my French Airbnb booking requests accepted (one an hour south of Calais for the first night and then 5 nights in Normandy). The place in Lower Normandy is 5 minutes drive to the beach (those reviewers who could "hear the waves" must have VERY good hearing ) and looks like it's in the middle of no where but that's just fine by me. There were other options in towns but directly after Normandy I'm headed back to my airless studio in the centre of Regensburg so I wanted a proper house, a garden for Carbon and no neighbours for the last of our current Labratour.

Then it's summer in the German basement and my continued immigration and taxation battle...oh my!

I love Etretat. It is the only place I know where you need to take money to pay for parking. Although you can park near the church for nothing and walk down to the town and beach. Lovely market too.

Decided to extend my trip by a day and stay near Etretat based on your recommendation. Also figured out where to park to walk along the cliffs from the link you included. Thank you! :D
