Ignoring Pheasants - LAM

I have been working for a long time with Hattie on ignoring pheasants, not easy as, well she does like to chase them  and there are plenty where I live in rural Hampshire, although not that many this year. She is now at the point that seeing a pheasant means she LAM and gets a good treat, granted not 100% of the time but a good 95%. If she hears them too she will LAM. I find LAM and LAT extremely useful and important for training good behaviours. Works for other things too. I use them everyday. xx :)

@Charlie, works for me as well though I didn't realise I was doing LAM, well I suppose I didn't quite do it! Rourke taught himself to put a pheasant up and then run back to me for his ball, so he doesn't chase. It must be difficult for him, as when he was picking up, he had to chase down pricked pheasants and retrieve them to me, he must have realised that if a bird smells of shot, chase and collect, if not, just put into flight and run back to me :sun:
